2023 Wedding Dress Trends

And it’s a wrap! The 2023 bridal fashion show just wrapped up and it did not dissapoint! While last season’s runway was filled with in-your-face-sexy-lace-fitted gowns, the 2022 fall bridal fashion show featured conservative gowns that still delivered on subtle sexiness (with class!). Here were the top trends that we took away from the bridal fashion shows:

High mock necklines – one of the top trends that we identified on the runway was high mock necklines made with lace (think: Paris Hilton’s wedding dress).

Asymmetrical neck lines – we saw asymmetrical necklines everywhere and there were different versions of it from one-shoulder grecian style gowns to off-the-shoulder draped sleeves (where one sleeeve was higher than the other) and we absolutely loved the uniqueness of the look!

High slits – you didn’t think that we’d cover up brides from head-to-toe, did you? Of course not! With the high mock necklines, the slits also came up much higher as well!

Romantic ballgowns – think: Bridgertown gowns with balloon-style sleeves.

Little white dresses – during the pandemic, many brides pivoted to mini-wedding ceremonies and along with these mini-weddings brought the idea of mini-wedding dresses. Although COVID is somewhat gone, these little white dresses are here to stay! Brides are wearing these for their rehearsal dinners or their late night change into outfit.

Birdcage veils / Gloves – The bridal fashion show was no short of unique veils and gloves. We saw quite a few chin length veil and gloves and think they’re the perfect way to accessories simple gowns!
